| Jon Saxton began competing in the pool at the age of seven. After years of training on club teams, he helped Ames High School win two State Runner-Up titles. Jon competed for St. Olaf College. He graduated from Brigham Young and became interested in the sport of triathlon soon after. Jon has quickly become competitive in the sport of triathlon, scoring numerous age group podium finishes at local Iowa races. Now a USAT Certified level I coach, Jon plays a key role in coaching the ISU Triathlon club and Rocket Science triathlon group swims in Ames, Iowa. |
